If you enjoy puzzle games and robots as protagonists, then Breinthee’s game Beep is the perfect choice for you.
In Beep you control a robot that needs to collect some components while avoiding the robot that guards them.
Too simple? Ok, fine, we didn’t tell you everything… the mechanics forgot to put brakes in your robot, so it will go ahead until it hits a wall, or maybe the floor is ice. Whatever the reason, you have to rely on careful planning to get through each stage.
Behind its deceptively simple monochrome UI lays a smooth puzzle game that will give you several layers of challenge. From the start you choose your level of difficulty beginning with “Explorer” mode. Go explore, slide, smash yourself against walls, collect the missing components, avoid the security droid and don’t forget to BEEP along the way.
You think Explorer mode is too easy for you? Don’t worry, BEEP also has a “Time Challenge” mode, on which you have a time limit to complete each stage. Still too easy? Well, try the “Time Challenge +” mode with even LESS time to complete each level. And this one is really tight. Perhaps it should be called “Time Challenge -” then, right?
To top it off, the real challenge is that you have to figure the game out without the presence of a manual. Check Breinthee’s web-site for more https://breinthee.synology.me/breinthee/beep/
